Villa Alpha (built in 1882), residence of manufacturer Armand Diepen, is a National Monument. The building is of architectural-historical significance due to the particular importance in the supra-regional history of the architecture, the beautiful design and the use of marlstone. Recently, Villa Alpha has been completely renovated and is nowadays being used as additional location of Parkhotel Valkenburg, named Villa Valkenburg.
