New construction for secondary education of the Pax Christi Junior College in Druten. The new building is constructed at the location where the pre-existing building was demolished after finishing construction work. Maintaining the pre-existing building during constructions has had a positive impact on the design. The new building is “sculptured” around the bulges of the old building and thereby gained an attractive, arched shape. The new building is fiercely and powerfully situated at the ring road around Druten and strongly influences the appearance of the region.
