The new building for Vocational Education Centre Nijmegen, location Carolus, accommodating the sectors Economics and Health and Welfare, is located next to the central train station of Nijmegen. This remarkable location, embedded in between the train tracks and bus lane, accommodates educational facilities shaped like a shopping mall around large, glass roofed plaza. The outstanding facades created a sense of unity in the complex. Despite the seemingly wide variety, the facade is created out of repetitive parts.
