On Monday, September 4, Alderman Daan Quaars of the Municipality of Breda opened the sports facility “De Kragt”. This indoor sports facility on Terheijdenseweg is the meeting place for athletes, sports professionals, teachers, young talents and local residents.

This multifunctional center on the Terheijdenseweg, aimed at education, top-class and grassroots sport, offers space for regional training centres, individual talents, Curio’s Sports and Exercise programme, grassroots sports associations and other (sports) organisations. In addition, the Talent Center functions as a meeting place and operating base for sports professionals. With this, the municipality wants to offer as many talented athletes as possible, with or without disabilities, the opportunity to develop in their own region.
