Sports hall De Koel in Borger
On Friday 13 December, the new sports hall De Koel in Borger was festively delivered.
During the ceremony, the key was symbolically handed over to Alderman Ankie van Tongeren by Bouwgroep Dijkstra Draisma.
Ankie van Tongeren is proud of the result. “The delivery of this beautiful sports hall is a milestone that we can rightly be proud of. This hall symbolises a place where young and old come together, play sports, exercise and have fun.”

Sports hall De Koel in Borger.
The sports hall can be divided into 3 separate hall sections using flexible partition walls. The grandstand capacity is 400 seats. The main entrance, catering and a multifunctional hall are located on the first floor. The halls are fully visible from the catering. The sports hall is gas-free, energy-neutral and ITS-compliant.
